If beaches were categorized the way celebrities are, Wailea Beach tops the A-List. Nestled in front of Wailea Beach Villas, Grand Wailea and Four Seasons Wailea, Wailea Beach has received its share of tabloid publicity for celebrity sightings. If you want a great spot, come early because the beach fills-up with beach chairs and umbrellas quicker than you can say “paparazzi” by the guests of the resorts that front it. Public parking is limited with the closest one right before the Four Seasons.
Public restrooms and outdoor showers are available.
Can You Snorkel at Wailea Beach?
You sure can! It can get crowded during the day, but if you head out in the morning and experience the calm waters here, Wailea Beach is one of the best places to snorkel in Maui.
Common Marine Life to See at Wailea Beach:
Sea turtles, saddle wrasse, butterflyfish, sergeant majors, boxfish, and tangs
