We love the location and the grounds of the Kihei Asahi. We have stayed there three times now. Our room C109 was a little dated. Furniture, washroom, kitchen. Details in cleaning was poor. We will look for an updated room next time.

Location of the condo is great. Ground floor, close to beach, shopping, eating places.
A little noisy at times by the elevqtor.
Well supplied for kitchen, towels, paper products,, beach equipment.
Bathtub drain needs help for easier usability.. front screen door annoying. Have to hand close it every time to avoid a slam.

This was my second time staying at the Kihei Akahi (previous time was in building D). C-109 is a nice unit, it wasn't super clean when I arrived but it was clean enough. All the supplies I needed were there (bedding, towels, etc.). Kitchen was great, well supplied, and everything worked. Small lanai, with a nice view out to a garden area (this a ground-floor unit). Be aware, however, that a main exterior walkway runs right beside the bedroom, with two elevators located mere feet away, and with the louvered windows, it was VERY loud. Ended up sleeping on the pullout in the living room after the first night to get some peace and quiet. When people are talking as they walk by or wait for the elevators, it sounds like they're right in the bedroom with you! Had a great stay otherwise, and the location across from Kam II can't be beat. Also easy walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping. The people at Maui Condo and Home were awesome to deal with. Mahalo nui loa for everything!

This is a lovely condo ideal for a small family. It is well equipped and clean. The apartment is on the ground level and we enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful garden. The beach, shops, restaurants are within walking distance.

Nice place, good location. Great price! Just one stove burner doesn’t work and the shower drains a little slow. We still had a great time here, and we hope to comeback.
