You can't get closer to the ocean! Step off of the lanai on to the grass and take a couple of steps to the sand. This is truly an oceanfront condo. The Fully equipped kitchen is open to the living and dining areas creating a large living space. The bedroom has a king bed and the bathroom is just off of the bedroom. The living room has a sofa bed, allowing this condo to accommodate up to four people. Great value on an Ocean Front condo located on the Ground Floor, just steps from the beach and the Ocean.

Great Setting, Resort, & Unit - A Winning Choice For Our Maui Getaway

My family enjoyed a wonderful week on Maui this past Christmas week, centered around this ideal "home base" at Sugar Beach 127. First, the complex itself is so perfectly located, convenient to all parts of the island. But even without getting into a car, local highlights are only a scenic walk down the beach. More than once, we indulged in the particular joys of both the Sugar Beach Bake Shop and the Ululani Shaved Ice next door. Further, the Resort itself is idyllically set, making it a joy just to walk a few feet outside the condo to take in the amazing views, especially at sunset. Other amenities of the Resort - from the gas grills to the helpful rental shop/concierge, and beyond - made our trip that much more enjoyable. As to unit 127 itself - it's as presented, with all the comforts of home, a full kitchen, and plenty of room for a family of four, We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet the unit was, despite occupancy at the Resort being high. Being able to enjoy all the highlights of Maui while being able to have meals at "home", do laundry whenever we needed, and - thanks to the unit's ground floor setting, walk onto the patio or the grass beyond into the beauty of Maui made our choice of unit 127 one we fully enjoyed -- and hope to again one day.

Beautiful location, grounds and amenities were awesome. The steps out to the beach was right there, as you walk out/off the patio. This unit needs a paint uplift. But location is perfect.

We loved our stay at the Sugar Beach and loved the location of this unit. We feel that there needs to be some updating of the particular the very tired bathroom....maybe rip out that old tub and just have a nice clean shower!
Also, the cleaning cupboard and bedroom closet could be sorted out, organized and cleaned...and maybe some supplies (Windex, kitchen spray, etc.) could be included so we can help keep your unit nice.
That being said, we had a wonderful time and the property managers responded immediately to fix the broken sliding doors in the bedroom.
We would rent this unit again.

This is the first ground floor unit we have stayed in. We loved it! This unit had everything we needed and was pleasantly comfortable and tropical. We enjoyed being on the patio mornings and sunset.

The condo was well maintained and ground level to the beautiful ocean. There is a grassy area for kids to play and plants guarding direct access to the water making a protective barrier for kids. It is an easy walk to the water to swim and boogie board. Towels will get stolen off the porch so don’t leave anything out. Pool was also great on the facility as well as grills. Pullout sofa worked well for our 2 young kids to sleep on and the bedroom bed was comfy. East booking of property and helpful staff to arrange activities. My family is not interested in downtowns or shopping so this location was nice and quiet for us.

Great location! Literally steps away from the ocean. Long beach walks await you.

Condo itself was a bit dated, which was fine.
Beach chairs were a nice touch.
There was a strange noise that sounded like a shower/faucet going off, but we don't think it could be that. Only bc it would happen frequently, with the same timing.

We did get contacted about Pest Control coming in the day of arrival. We requested no spray for our stay. Perhaps they did spray bc we did smell it and had an allergy attack. :( Otherwise the facility was good on using low-scented cleaning products. Or perhaps it was the cleaning products and not the spray? It is one big building so who knows if the off gassing was passed through the shared vent system?

Not the resorts fault, but noise level in the morning from families (before 8) was def a downer.
This may be all resorts in HI.

Would def recommend to families. Not sure if we would stay at this one again. Perhaps an upper floor would be better?

Overall, not a bad stay, but not ideal for the money.

Tidy condo right on the beach. Step off the lanai onto the grass and then a beautiful beach. Sunsets are spectacular. Nice to alsohave the pool, hot tub and BBQ grills. Very nice spot.
