Nicknamed by the locals as Kam 1, Kam 2 and Kam 3, the Kamaole beach parks are situated on South Kihei between the Azeka shopping centers and just before you hit Wailea. Each beach park offers something unique depending on what type of activity you prefer. If you prefer to frolic on the beach, Kam I has the largest stretch of beach of all three. If you like the idea of a large grassy lawn to barbecue, picnic or have a small gathering, Kam 3 has the largest park. You’ll often see birthday parties, group picnics and if you are lucky, the largest man-made slip-n-slide you’ll ever see. Kam 2 offers a little of both and volleyball courts for your enjoyment.
There is plenty of parking on all the Kam beaches. Lifeguard on duty, public restrooms and outdoor showers available.
